The Camp, covering about 14 acres, was found in 1957, or thereabouts, and became the headquarters of the Minto Bush Lovers Club.
The main gate is on the southern and western corner of the property. The Georges River is its eastern boundary and has some nice swimming spots.

A 70 feet steel-framed ex-Army building was purchased and 50 feet of it became the main hall and kitchen while the remaining 20 feet was used as a large bunkhouse.
For many years it has been used as a meeting place for a variety of groups including the Sydney Men's Festival.
The Camp has seen many weddings and birthday parties.
There are 76 bunks in a double-deck formation scattered throughout the Camp in 8 cabins.
The cabins contain from 8 bunks in the main bunkhouse to 2 in four of the smaller cabins.
The costs for the use of the Camp are as follows.
A $300 bond is required to confirm a booking. If there is no damage the bond will be returned within a week.
There is a minimum charge of $150 per day which is the rate of $15 per head per day for ten (10) people. Children up to 7 years are free, from 7 to 15 half price is charged.
